Mike and I did not get Thursday off, so we missed the rings on Friday. We arrived in Seattle late Friday evening and proceeded to wash the cats. We took Climax Moly Mucker, my year old female Pixie-Bob, and Yogi Bear-Ah, our House Hold Pet. I am pretty sure Yogi is mostly Maine Coon.

We arrived at the Convention Center early Saturday morning for set up. We couldn’t do anything too fancy because of the limited traveling accommodations. It was absolutely wonderful, we hadn't been there 30 minutes before Lee and Janet greeted us. It wasn't long when all of the rest came over and introduced them-selves, too.

Here is a list of everyone that was at the show in alphabetical order.

  Carol Ann Brewer
  Kay Doyle and her husband
  Shirley DeLong
  Lee Jordan
  Janet McGee
  Pat and Karen O'Neill
  Amy Peterson
  Sherri Regier
  Linna Ritch
  Konnie Surmann
  BJ Strickland

Whew!!! Now that is a lot of Pixies and breeders. I felt at home right away, and everyone was so good to watch out for me if I didn't get my cats to the ring promptly. I have to tell everyone that I was extremely impressed with the beautiful Pixies that everyone brought.

Big! That is all I can say about the others Pixies. They were big, had great faces and all in all I am very glad that I didn't have to judge them. I am not just saying that I thought they were fantastic. I took a lot of photos and have no idea whose Pixies I had in the lens.

I apologize to everyone about the photo confusion. Anyway, now I see what a really nice, big Pixie-bob should look like. Sigh! Saturday night they had the Royal Canin Seminar and we all sat around and ate a very nice arrangement of hoagie sandwiches, chips and cookies. The seminar was on feeding the queen. Very informative except that most do not have the food suggested available.

Sunday we celebrated the 13th Anniversary of Pixie-bobs being accepted into TICA Championship. Carol brought a fantastic cake (huge) and we all ate cake and took a group photo together. It seemed like the weekend flew by, much faster than normal. I am so happy to have had a chance to meet everyone. You are all beautiful. Thank you so much for allowing me to join in your fantastic show. I don't know if I will be able to afford to come to another show (sounds like a good excuse for not having a great cat to show against yours).
