How Do We Feed Our Cats?

Most Pixie-Bobs have a high metabolism so they require the ability to graze on their food. Some people and vets do not understand the build of our Pixie-Bobs and feel that when the primordial belly appears that the cats has to be overweight and is getting too fat so they put them on a diet. WRONG! Our Vets need to better understand the Pixie-Bob and how they are built. A primordial belly is a good thing, strong muscles and heavy bones is what we should have in our cats.

Free feeding is not a bad thing with a Pixie-Bob it is a necessity so health, happiness and lots of enjoyment can be achieved. I do have to admit that I have rarely seen a Pixie-Bob with a weight issue, mostly because of the type of free feed they are given.

I have written about this before but I feel it is necessary to touch on it again. CATS ARE OBGILATE CARNIVORES; GET THEM OFF THE GRAINS. GRAINS ARE WHAT IS MAKING THEM FAT NOT FREE FEEDING!

Until next time, keep those suggestions coming in on other subjects you would like me to write on.
